This one time at band camp........ ;)

Wow, that was a pointless post... ;-p (Considers deleting it, then realizes Sid is a mod) Hmmmm.... No soup for you!

09-22-2006, 01:50 AM
LOL. True very pointless. Delete away. However, it could have a better subject line like "What movie is this from?" As a matter of fact, I think that a thread should be started with that. One person posts a movie quote and until the correct answer is given, another quote cannot be posted...Sound good. hahaha

"Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over."

09-22-2006, 03:17 PM
Ok, I changed the topic... You can do so in the future ya know... With your Moddy Powers... ;-p If ya don't know how, just PM me and I'll explain....

BTW, youre's was to easy... Navic is... 2001 Space Odyssey? LOL Only thing I could think of that fit...

"Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over."

I'm going with 2001: A Space Odyssey. That is my final answer.

09-22-2006, 08:32 PM
Ok. The last one was too easy so here are a couple more. These are from the same movie....

Are you stalking me? Because that would be super.

I want you all over that ball like a fat kid on a cupcake!

09-22-2006, 08:39 PM
Yeh, but we already know what movie it's from, so again there's no challange in that... LOL

How about (Can you name the movie and who said it for Extra points!),

"Do you like our Owl?"

"It's artificial?"

"Of course it is."

"Must be expensive."

09-22-2006, 08:48 PM
Ok...ya keep saying you know but I haven't seen the names of the movies yet.... speaking of easy (bonus points too). Final answer below. :P

Blade Runner - Rachael = Sean Young Deckard = Harrison Ford

Rachael: Do you like our owl?

Deckard: It's artificial?

Rachael: Of course it is.

Deckard: Must be expensive.

Rachael: Very.

Both your second ones are from - Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds)

The first was American Pie and pretty much any of it's sequals. Oh, BTW... Here's some points! <Tosses points at Sidd>

Ok, how about this one.... A lil harder... And no internet! ;-p

"You know, one of these days, you might want to consider sitting down with someone. You know, have a little share time? Get in touch with your inner child? Also, you just might want to consider blinking once in a while."

Movie and Name will net ya more extra points... ;-)

09-22-2006, 09:45 PM
Took me a bit. <browsed movie collection> It's the same guy, Ryan Reynolds. From one of the Blade movies. I hit send as the final jeopardy music ends.....

09-22-2006, 09:59 PM
Good enough, no extra points for ya though... ;-)

09-26-2006, 05:27 PM
Anyone know this one?

Person A: Hand me that flashlight.
Person B: I can't! I'm holding two guns!
Person A: Then put one of them down.
Person B: I'm not putting one of them down!

This one's a thoughy... ;-) Extra points if you can do it without the use of the internet.... ;-)

"Are my eyes really brown?"

Impress me.

11-07-2006, 03:25 PM
Hmmm... That one's a tough one...

11-07-2006, 03:54 PM
Okay, that is a Epic-level quote.

A hint:

B&W film with some big stars that is one of the most quoted of all time. Although this quote is one of the obscure ones.

Tiger gets the point.

The quote comes from the scene where Rick is sitting in the cafe with the Nazi officers who show him his dossier. They are telling him not to get involved in the whole Victor Lazlow affair when he looks up from his file and asks the Nazis, "Are my eyes really brown?"

11-07-2006, 04:40 PM
I wouldn't have known if ya hadn't given the hints... I really had no clue... And in all fairness, I haven't even seen that movie... Trust me though, it's on my list... ;-)

11-07-2006, 04:47 PM
And in all fairness, I haven't even seen that movie... Trust me though, it's on my list... ;-)

(gasp) "Haven't..." (wheeze) "Seen..." (gasp) "that movie..."

You are hereby instructed to obtain said movie in whatever means is the quickest and view it.

Seriously, this movie is that good. It earned its reputation.

Yeh, yeh, yeh... It's on my list of top 10 Classic Man movies to watch... Along with The Godfather, and Rocky....

It wasn't that long ago that I finally sat down and watched Scarface... Which was also on my list.

It wasn't that long ago that I finally sat down and watched Scarface...
My god man! I seen Scarface when I was like 10! Hmm... can I use that as an excuse to my Nervous Doctor? (Hint)...

'A': You always seem to be deep in thought. Tell me, what are you thinking right now?
'B': I was thinkin', I'm gonna take me some of these taters home with me.
'A': How about before that?
'B': Well, let me think... I was thinkin' I could use me another couple cans 'o that potted meat if ya got any extree.

11-08-2006, 09:40 PM
See, now that one's easy... Switchblade. Next!

11-08-2006, 10:10 PM
"You are a total nutcase, completely deranged, delusional, paranoid. Your thought process is all f!@#*d up. Your information train is jammed, man!"

Extra points...
"Sir, I am unaware of any such activity or operation - nor would I be disposed to discuss such an operation if it did in fact exist, sir."

Seems like before we moved over to this board we had a long running quotes thread going..

Ignorant people think it is the noise which fighting cats make that is so aggravating, but it ain't so; it is the sickening grammar that they use.
-Mark Twain

"I've made no effort to become a guitar hero because I can't play the ****ing guitar!" -- Freddie Mercury

It's still here BC... I've merged the two threads... ;-)

"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer."
