I type this, as a 25 year old, almost-done-with-college, 22k a year man with a fiance, house leaser.
Thinking back to the times when I played Yserbius makes me want to cry some time.
You have to understand, this was before the days of internet, fanbois, 733T assholes, and spammers. Literally everyone on INN...no TSN...was there to make friends. We didn't have greifers back then. It was true online gaming.
I discovered TSN at 13, after having spent 4 years being an intense Sierra fan. I was so addicted to TSN, at one point, that I stole my friends account, and never admitted to it.
You learned little tricks, such as: When your 30 hours a month were almost over, you'd pull an all niter and squeeze in an extra 10 if you could stay awake and connected.
When AOL took over, my parents didn't want to pay the 50 bucks for 15 hours, so I was cut. Cut completely, and thats when I went to The Realm as Selias, and later became Kluz on Everquest.
I can truly say that Yserbius is a game that was so unique and groundbreaking, that it can transcend time, and it would mean a lot to me to get this game up and running again.
