Hey everyone! Looks like a small crowd so far hehe.. well, it was just by luck I happened to find this place, and what a pleasant surprise. Very nice site design! I hope more people from way back.. um.. how many decades ago was it? hehe, well, I hope more of the old crowd finds their way here (if they can actually remember that old game!)

I was but a tavernite myself.. I would sit for hours just roleplaying in the tavern. But what fun it was! I was in my mid teens I think when I first came to Yserbius, and am glad to have had the experience there I did.. it was so much fun talking to and playing with others. =)

Good to see that game and unique community it created still lurks in the hearts of many :)

Nice - even your links page still points to one of my very first homepages. Ah, the good old days. Glad you found your way here ShoeHorn.

thanks for the welcome. That site of mine is hilarious because I bet 90% of the links don't work anymore. Ahh well, it's a little time capsule I suppose. I should figure out how to update it and at least post a link to this site (in the unlikely event anyone would find their way to my page!) :p

take care mates!

Yeah, we dropped the domain name about four maybe five years ago. All those hits from kids doing research on Celtic History was driving the costs up, plus there are only a couple of handfuls of the Celts left.

In retrospect I would have chosen a more unique name for the guild back then. But who knew how long it was gonna last back then.

P.S. Re: Velvet Celtic Bash. It was a good success, they had a good turnout. Much better turn out then BloodCelt's Everyone Come Help me Move Bash did.

Ahhh... ShoeHorn, I remember your name, and of course yours, BC. It does my heart good to see two such notorious names exchanging banter again. Just wanted to say a quick "hello" to both of you <Waves>.

"Everyone Come Help Me Move Bash", bahaha.. yeah I suppose the idea of manual labor would have some thinking twice about going.

That's cool the velvet celtic bash went nicely.. I suppose I could get my lazy ass to bring my links page up to date, but it's just another annoyance I will procrastinate about for a little longer ;)

IRONHORSE, I totally remember your name too. (HAWK acording to your website) But I remember an IRONHORSE too.. hmm.. anyway, this is great seeing old yserbian's! :D

And DAVEN, you old fool, how are ya!

Things are going good on ShoeHorn Island, hehe. Made nice with the natives, introduced them to the wonders of footwear. Although there's a few cute members of the opposite sex in the Juwanafugmi tribe, I am unwilling to perform the rituals necessary to permit fornication with their kind. Nope, nooo sticks up my *** or piercings in my ***.

Sooo, unfortunately it'll be some time before I find my true solemate :p

Yo Shoey, only HAWK in Mace Manor (Back when I was stupid enough to play a human barb), then played "Pit" in Sword Swamps and Evil Way, then IRONHORSE in RolePlay Inn (Doin the Merc thing and all, then ;)

IRONHORSE,

hmm.. well I'm pretty sure I've seen 'HAWK' or some variant of it back then, plus 'IRONHORSE'... 'Pit' tho for some reason doesn't bring up memories hehe. I don't know how often I went to other lands, not very much.. I was mostly an Evil Way gamer, although 'Selfless' (another of my characters) did explore other territories.

Hmmmm... Pit was the Commander of VEA's army under Lars & Sabre. I did play him pretty "straight up" as a military commander type guy. It wasn't 'til I joined TheMercs and made IH that I became notorious

Ah, fer crap's sake! *Bonks self on head* LOG IN BEFORE YA POST, LAMER!

Damn Mercs always did stink up the taverns.

Came from never watching where they walked.

Had to love the tavern fights and not having some game admin breathing down your neck with a load of "rules". Ahhh,,,I miss the good old days when the web was the wild west..lol.
