I have some code that has the potential to become a very nice base for the server software of a remake, but I'm currently waiting for my MSDN subscription to arrive so I can get Visual Studio 2005 beta to start working with some of the new stuff.

It won't be much to start off with... it's actually a bit of sample code that basically acts as a chat program. Clients connect to a server and register their connection -- then, when the clients send a message, it's sent to the server and the server, in turn, sends it to all clients. It handles resource locking and all of the communication protocols quite simply.

From this, I figure it should be easy to build upon, but we'll see what happens.
