Ya think ya can find out or ask one of your Japanese friends how Obi's are traditionally tied (worn)...

It only shows how Kendo belts are tied... But what about those worn with komono's? (Specifically mens Komono's).. Or if indeed the kai no kuchi knot is how to tie it... And if so, then how ya do it? LOL

It actually shows how Karate, Judo, etc. belts are tied; there's currently no Kendo related visual how-to on that particular page. I only know how to properly tie a hakama, but I'll see if I can find what you need.
