"In 1.68b, we added a turn-in for Thanes and Champions who activated the Shield of Khaos to get back a sellable version of the Shield of Khaos. This was done because these classes could not use large shields at the time. In 1.87, Thanes and Champions were given the ability to use large shields, making this turn-in obsolete. Because the Shield of Khaos can now be used by these two classes, the turn-in has been disabled."
