Over the years, I've tried to keep up on the state of YS in one form or another. There are/were several projects that tried to awaken the YS of ole. Most notably Empiriana was first out of the gate and was loosely based on the YS we knew and loved. Empiriana actually got a paying customer base for awhile. There's also a project at Xensoft that's been going on for a couple of years.
In 2001, when looking around the internet for old YS folk, I acquired Yserbius.com and thought about creating a fan site for YS, but the lack of any real computer skill put a stop to that
Last month, while searching through a stack of resumes, I came accross a resume that listed TSN/INN on it. Long story short, I asked "the applicant" if it was possible to recreate YS in some form and he said it's quite possible. "The applicant" knows of some of the original developers and they may have the server side software tucked away. Modifications to code to make it internet friendly could be fairly easy.
.....I'm just imagining the possibilities.......YS may live again... just maybe...
