Ok there are several of you who are actively playing YSUO now. I see some of us are actively starting to train up skills and such. (I am currently making me a archer/LumberJack Type) I felt it is about time we all have a centralized Vendor mall where we can buy and sell those trade goods not normally found in standard NPC's.

So If any of you are familiar with Luna this is where I placed it. First house across the entryway. That way folks are very close to a bank, Smithy, Tailor, and much more.

Since most of us cannot afford to place housing yet and since currently we are to spread out to have vendors all over. I placed a house whch is owned by YSUO and all Players will be able to set up their vendors in order to make extra money. So let me know in game and I will mark you runes to the place and help you get set up. I know there is alot of things i need that cant be found anywhere.

Has anyone made a scribe yet? I am bad need of Recall Scrolls. will pay 60 gold for each.

Sorry i had to get that in there folks. Well let me know whati can do to make your YSUO time better.. Thanks Slo

Cap

We will be changing the Skills Cap from 700, but mind you A Craft based Char is totally different than a fighter type char. each needs approximately 700 of their very own skill points. so to have a craftmans and a Fighter is not a thing we wish to have in game. most people will make one char for a Craftsman to earn a living and make stuff, Fighters will be another Character. Miners and Blacksmith tend to use a hide skill if they feel threatened while out mining. or they mine where there is no threats. and there is tons of places to mine where there is no spawn. I took a moment last night to glance through your skills, and note i am a UO player with about 7 years experience. your skills are way to eclectic.
You have to many different skill bases you are trying to put points into. 15 or 20 points in one skill is not sufficient skill points to do anything in that skill. If I raised a skill cap that would let you raise all of those skills to 100(gm status) you would need a skill cap of 12,800 which is obvious is a embalance. I would suggest you follow these templates below

For a Blacksmith this is the proper skill plate

100 Blacksmithing
100 Mining
100 Tinkering
70 Tailoring
70 Magery
125 Strength, 25 Dexterity, 65 Intelligence
The remainder of your points can be spread to Hiding and a Combat style

For a Fighter Char your Plate should be

100 Swordsmanship/Fencing/Mace Fighting/Archery (your choice)
100 Tactics
100 Anatomy
70 Healing
70 Resist Spells
110 Strength, 80 Dexterity, 25 Intelligence

I would sprinkle the rest of your points into Magery so you can recall to different places and mark runes.

I would reccomend a second Char. since it is obvious we can not have a skill cap of 12,800. . Just my advice though.
The Skill Cap we plan to raise to initially is 800. which is not going to do you much good with all the skills you have started. but hey we all have our own playstyle. I will let you know when the Stat cap Raise is effective. Slohand
