    Movie - Transformers (Movies)

Transformers. Where to start with this summer mega blockbuster? I guess, we should start at the beginning.

The movie starts off with a bang, and doesn’t end until the credits roll. There’s really no plot to speak off, well, let me rephrase that. There’s no plot that anyone who’s a transformers fan growing up in the eighties would have noticed. What they would have noticed, is the very close similarities and quirks that made the auto bots so enjoyable as a kid. Everyone who’s anyone makes an appearance in the movie. Megatron and Optimus Prime of course, but really they don’t come into play until closer to the end. The two factions, Decepticons and Autobots are fighting for control over the Allspark, a morph-able borg cube that gives their kind life.

So there ya have the two and a half hour movie in a nut shell. So how was it? Oh… My… God… Yeh, it was that good. Funny and of course had that Saturday morning cartoon moral message often found back in the eighties. The Autobots had the best onscreen presence and I would say, despite all the hype, stole any scene they and co-star Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) were in together. And BumbleBee? Yeh, I want one! I mean come on, the Autobot had carried the whole movie, it came down pretty much to him. The first scenes with him in it were CLASSIC and hilarious. There were a few lose ends in the movie that after the dust settled, left me thinking, “Where she go?” Like the scientist lady. Still trying to figure out exactly WHAT she did in the entire movie. Anyway, go see this summer hit. In fact, go see it twice or more. This ones goin in my DVD collection when released.

Oh, how many Katana’s? 4 Beeach! And an Extra Half one for Jazz…

    Too much fun!

Saw the movie today and it was a lot of fun - and I never saw the tv show. I want a bumblebee and the robot that was hacking into the computers was just too cute, even if he was on the wrong side.

John Turturro was fabulous, as always... I kept expecting him to say something about how sneaky he is... and I loved his undies! LOL!

This one is going into my DVD collection also.. but, then again, with over 900 dvd's so far... apparently EVERYTHING goes into my DVD collection

See it. My kids enjoyed it, my wife enjoyed it, I enjoyed it. Thumbs up. I didn't even realize that it was 2 1/2 hours long til we left.

Favorite from my kids "the fighting and the one with the big guns" lol
One wants Optimus and the other wants Bumble Bee. I wish I could find my transformers from back in the day but I think that is wishful thinking.
