Found this in an ol .tx2 file... TDU was another guild, though it was Twinion....
Before I begin I would like to announce some bad news.
After a year of on-line marriage
it is with great sadness that I inform you that we have lost Queen Rislyn to the INN price hike and she has closed her account .
If it where not for her keeping things going while I was being shipped to a new work schedule TDU would have folded long ago.
((Of coarse Prince Parsfal helped out just as much) Also I have not yet heard from Prince Parsifal due to the fact he has some how drowned in the Internet Pool of life while he was waiting for the new prices to be announced.
All Ranks are being changed with all upper Royal Retinue positions being filled. But until I hear from the people that where so very true to TDU and upheld the values for which we stand I will NOT make any changes yet.
I hope to be able to have this issue settled in the next week or 2 AT THE MOST. At the Special meeting that was held on Sunday in the Tavern it was voted upon that we will be changing our regular meeting time to.....Sundays at 6:00pm PST. at a location still pending from INN.
As for now our meetings will still be held on our regular Wednesday nights at 7:00 PST in the Chess room of the club house.
DemonBlue will be in charge of these meetings in my absence until furture notice of new meeting place. Please follow the meeting rules so that they can be held without the kind of interuptions .... that waste other members time and money.
Finally....I would be for ever greatful if you would please take the time to write me a quick line and inform me if you are still interested in being apart of TDU or if you wish to longer be apart of our family so that I can Consider You for a new Rank position or remove you from the mailing list.

Yep, there was a DTF (Defenders of the Faith) on Yserbuis - mostly in RPI.... way way back when. When I was a semi newbie even... I took it over for awhile as queen with Eclovallis as King.. I forgot who started it with Eclo. I'm sure he would remember though.

if I may add... there was most definitely a ` jesters `
and Fates is 100% still around and kickin... my ex IRL actually lol The Anarchs has been slowly fading away last I heard but I was a co monarch of the allegiance/guild during a few years in Asheron's Call. They have a website still afaik http://www.anarchs.com
and, although it was not a "promoted" guild... Ender and I carried `LOTE` for a short time because I was always so anti guild & rather enjoyed floating from group to group as a li'l quiet social butterfly...
(LOTE being Livin On The Edge)
so not sure you could call it a guild but definitely a tag we carried
I'd imagine Fates has seen this site but I'll send the link his way just in case he hasn't.

I'm not much a guild person... too confining and I don't accept the notion of leaders.... Most get way carried away with their presumed cyber-importance. That said, I was in Excal strictly for the fighting... From what I recall that's almost all we did. I figured I'd learn how to fight fair....
And KoY was Kingdom - the guild was set up as such with Kings, Queens, and other similar scum such as Dukes, Lords ... take your pick of hierarchy rabble :lol:
