yea,,, ok when you open a dos window like >Start>Run>cmd navigate to where you installed vitaminF (i install it in the same directory as Yserbius myself... type in vitaminF it loads and tells you to press any key to continue, do so,, now at this point do not close this dos window or the macro will unload itself, when hit a key to continue go ahead and load yserbius ad begin game play and read the instructions in vitaminF for its use. ,, see if this helps.. Slo
*Sigh* Tried that, and no go. As soon as I press that dang "Anykey" the little window dissappears I tried opening the program twice, with no success there, either. I have a feeling it has something to do with trying to run the old DOS program in Win XP... Any other suggestions?
OK... Well, I tried running both VitF and Yserbius under cmd lines, and it still doesn't work. VitF loads OK now, and Yserb runs, but when I hit the hotkeys for VitF, it's a no-go. Talk to me more about this DOSbox thingy... where can I get it?
(Oh and no, Slo.. I had shortcuts to both on my desktop before)
OK!!! VitF is now working just fine! I just needed to transplant it into my Yserbius directory! Thank you all for your help! Now I've run into one last problem standing between me & having a rip-roarin' time.
The version of VitF we downloaded didn't come with the "fotitems.txt" file. Y'know the one that lets you know what numbers create what items & all. If anyone has that file, & can email it to me at: email@example.com, I'd be endlessly grateful!
