Formost, hello, my name is wayne & I will be a regular addition to your Forum. I am well versed in Forum etiquette, being a standing member elsewhere, and I am also rather finicky on grammar, so watch your p's & q's.
Well now, A old, old friend moved in with me recently, and in going through his Computer game discs I came upon a burn I'd given him 7 years ago. (back when CDR's were 2x, and expensive as gold) On this disc was one of my favorite old games, which I had thought lost to time... Yserbius & Twinion.
When I played in the past (1995, My Lord, has it been that long????) I had a 51st level ranger that I had only had the time to take through half of the game, I believe. On my friends burn was a 18th level warrior I'd started, & not my beloved ranger, so I took the ball & ran. I've been playing now for 3 solid weeks, and just loving it.
My biggest question though is in facing the Dragons / Wyverns on level 6 I believe it is, where I assume I have to return the Wind horn. To this day (& in time past) I have never beaten the third set of dragons. What am I doing wrong????
My normal attack approach involves Sovereignty Scrolls and Death Darts. Then I pound the rest with my sword until exhaustedly I drop dead in a charred heap, with 2 - 5 dragons left standing. do you really have to be over 75th level to tackle these brutes? Am I really going to have to wait another month or three before I can take them on without dieing? How has someone else done it?????
Also, in the (???) Wizards level (???) with all the teleports. My Scanning skills display monsters in the middle, but I have never actually been able to find my way into that area, other than the four surrounding teleports that form a small inverse cross. What am I missing? is there a drop somewhere I haven't tried? A teleport I haven't found? A magic word I haven't said? (Open Sez ME!) Please drop a hint, cause I'm frustrated.
OK, one other thing,
I see from here that there is some new form of Online Yserbius... I've prowled around a few days before coming with my mundane questions, so I've seen some interesting things to say the least. Please explain to me the online play.... and weither (in your humble opinion) it's worth the download / time investment.
All that said, I look forward to getting to know everyone here, thanks, and Good Fighting to all.

Oh... and what's with the donation thing on the sideline.... it's something we don't have at my other forum....
