Heroes (Spoiler Warning!)

Like the anticlimactic battle? You don't need huge special effects and stuff to pull off a good battle between Peter and Sylar.
It was a meh battle because it was the antithesis of those fights in the campy old martial arts movies. In those movies, you had the hero encircled by a group of bad guys. One bad guy would fight the hero while the other bad guys just sort of danced around the pair, the hero would dispatch the first bad guy, another bad guy will engage the hero while the rest of the bad guys continue to dance around, rinse and repeat.

It wasn't just the one by one -- it was that the one by one engagements of Sylar were a bit contrived. However, it was kind of neat to see Nikki bashing Sylar with a parking meter. Sylar must have been like "Wtf? This blonde web camera stripper chick is owning me with a parking meter!"

Bah, I don't by that... And I'll tell ya why....

Almost everyone got a crack at Sylar in the end there, it was forced and was just short of.. "Oh, crap... Its the end of the season, lets just throw them all into a rumble in the bronx and call it a night."

Sure, you might say, "Yeh, Tiger... But thats what I was saying." But I disagree, simply because the Heroes didn't fight till the end... Like Niki for example, she prolly coulda pwned his @$$, but instead, where was she?.... Hiro too for that matter... And don't even get me started on Peter....

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was an ok episode, but it was anticlimactic. It needed more, for a season finally.

Hehehe...

Speaking of Heroes... http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=21150

From what I understand, the writers wanted to end the story arc with NY, and focus on a new set of Hereos... But when the world fell in love the the characters from season 1, they all went, "uh-oh... " and had to flush out a new story arc to make the line continue.... They did a good job in so far as that goof is transparent, but the fact that some of the episodes, namely the finale, was just 'ok' was really a let down.

What a relief, because everytime they're in New York, it just looks like a dressed up version of Los Angeles. I wasn't even sold on it in 1.16 when flying Peter was carrying Claude to safety.

I read the spoilers, so I know a little about the new characters. All I can say is, they all sound interesting, and I believe they all have potential, it's just a matter of finding the right actors and proper writing for them.

Crave Online: Do you go online and read the theories?
Noah Gray-Cabey: No, what I do more is read what people say about me. There is some funny stuff in there and it doesn’t bug me when someone says, "I don't like that kid." It's just hysterically funny to me. I'm just like, "Oh, that is so mean but that is so funny" because it's me so I don't really get bugged by it if they're made. It doesn't really matter to me so it's actually kind of fun.
Hah! It's nice he can handle the negative talk. He's ready for this business long-term if he can maintain that outlook.

The cast and crew of Heroes may be coming to a city near you this summer. In August, Tim Kring is sending various Heroes stars on a world tour, cosponsored by Nissan, to present the First Season DVD, available August 28 on DVD and HD-DVD. At least seven cities in seven countries have been booked so far: Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Munich, Paris, London and New York. After announcing this endeavor, Kring hung around to answer more questions about season two and the spinoff, Heroes: Origins.
I must know where and when in New York they will go for this.
