Back in the day, each Tav (host) was it's own lil community. So, have the people who frequent the different Tav's come up with a slogan.
Maybe the patrons could vote for an offical bartender/wench (which in turn is that forum's Mod?).
After members find their old friends here, they'll exchange email address' to communicate. Then they'll check the site occasionally for new members and such. I know the forums are not the same as the old Tav's, but how do we keep'm coming back?

Thats why I hired you guys, to help me with this lol.. I am so swamped at work,, this project has went from 20 mill to 30 mill and my time to spend here at the board is minute for the next couple weeks.
Here is my thoughts...
The average of people who come here and come back again is about 12 percent.. we have 114 members and 12 members with more than 10 post is my formula for this. I feel with increases in Membership we will see a continuation of that percentile so by 200 we will have 24 active members. There is only so much web content one can change on a website devoted to Yserbius. So I feel only the truly Interested will continue here.
I have no problems giving you Navic and Tiger Admin rights to the Forums if you want to make changes etc etc. all I ask if you dont know what it does dont touch it. I have learned that lesson several times already.
I think like everything else it will come and go. There will be terrific amounts of interest then it will wane and come back over and over. I mean some people here, would do checks on yserbius every year or so. so assuming people can be as far as 2 years on their personal timer. I would say for 3 months well actually 2.5 months according to when I registered Slohand on the board then I would say 56,000 page views is quiet a feat. Actually 56k is not very accurate. my server reports over 500,000 page views in 2.5 months and I tend to believe that. as also 5620 unique visitors not counting Search engine Bots. of which we are being crawled daily by at leat 3 bots. I have a advertising campaign set up with Kanoodle and Yahoo and Google. and in the last week out site has had 389 Click throughs as of this morning. If you look at any one time we have alot of guest here looking around, go to the Self Destruct link and you will see what those IP's are and where they are going when they get here. I have restricted the download section to registered members only so alot of people only register for the game and then they are gone, perhaps they will return perhaps not. We are after all probably the last place on this planet where you can download This game not counting Xensoft because it stays offline alot. so I think we should focus on what we and who we have and the rest will come,, i mean i never expected 114 members and 56k hits 3 months ago look now. I mean this is not all me guys and gals.. Sure i started this,, but there is no way I can handle it all by myself. so i believe it is a team effort. So formulate a plan and decide what you want to do with the place and I will help facilitate this by giving you all the access and help I can to make it happen. what do you think folks? Slo

Well... Maybe we should divy up the responsablities then... Like I'm handling the News, and Navic's doin the content/Links.... I agree with the point that if ya don't know, don't touch.... Like I pointed out in the email, there's alot of little things that need to be fixed, that Navic and I can't really fix.... It pretty much depends on what kind of responsabilities you want to give us Slo, you did start this... And, I can't speek for Navic, but I'm willing to help in any and every way possible to keep things interesting, fixed, updated, running... ect... So, maybe giving Navic and I Admin rights for everything, could help the strain ya currently have.... Take the Admin tool and devide it down the middle... Half for Navic, half for myself....

I havent changed the password crycrycry try it and let me know i will fix it.... I will also fix admin Tiger account for you Tiger,, I am getting to see a little daylight here at work and home so i will be working on fixing those admin rights here very soon. Thansk guys you been awesome .. Jim

Ok i deleted the admin Tiger and remade him with more rights and the password we discussed. now after you log in as Admin Tiger go to forum admin link and try to admin it,, let me know if you cant, Navic for you to go admin Forum you may have to log in your Admin Survey account and stay logged in as Navic as well to access it. let me know thanks guys. We are going to be putting it together in a group effort. i will set up a format and everyone who is on the newsletter will work their portion of it and upload it i have adobe acrobat professional version with the distiller here so I will send the newsletter out from the site and then copy it to a pdf file to store here on the website for future reference. hows that sound?
