Yeh man, that is totally a bummer... There's not way that'd fly here...

I thought though you changed the IP ys.org was on? All the other Ys.org emails work? I can email Navic... I think... Or, not...

I thought you did change the IP's? Can we not have the Deticated server host the email? Or are those IP's blocked too?

How much you paying thesse guys? If you want, I can see if one of my buds in Retention can call ya if you want to try a new hosting company... Hehehe... They'll be able to give ya a decent discount I'm sure...

Well, I spruced up a good chunk in a few hours. Which should give you enough to play with for the weekend....

Down at the bottom of the Chronicals theme, where it says Next or Previus Thread, the words are not readable as their the same color as the BG.

As I was posting this, I realized a good source for the arrows can be found in the Tavern or the Moving buttons int he cano, so I'll be resizing them for some of the collapsing icons....

BTW, for some reason the forums keep giving me an Database error everytime I tried to attatch the ZIP for this thread....

When I have a new update, I'll overwrite whats there so you can DL it whenever I update it....

And why the redirect from ys.org to the Forums??

Going to switch the board theme over here in a little while, the image package we have is close enough for now, the last few i will update once you are done with those. Be about another hour before board defaults to the new(old) theme.

Did you switch them? I don't notice any changes to what we had before... I'm still showin the External Link icon you made while at work? Or did mine not turn out?

WoW server

Just providing an update....It would be possible to do a WoW server but since I haven't played WoW, I don't know how it would be compared to blizzard. It would be relatively easy, I can say that after spending a week (or more) looking and messing with it, for others to play and set up but it would probably not be the best idea. Everything I read tells me that it could cause some serious trouble, legally speaking. There appears to be quite a difference btw the Ultima people and the blizzard people in this aspect. So, I will leave this update, as it is, an update but not plans to continue or pursue anything further. I will say that I would probalby enjoy the game but am not feeling like I need to add a monthly payment to my budget :)

Anyone with access to the admin panel needs to change their password today pls.

Yesterday i relisted all of the music and today that link is gone. this along with the continually disappearing download links leads me to believe a password has been comprimised. please change those immediately. if this problem persist we are going to have to lock down the entire admin panel until something is figured out. the person responsible could choose to wipe the entire board. i made a backup this morning in case but please change your password and do not let anyone use the same PC or if so do not use the remember me feature until then thanks all Jim

That thread is for the three little icons i had you make for me , i got those, i thought you had sent the big zip file of the complete set of theme icons, the one with a several dozen different ones in it, no biggie,, and to answer your question then,, no the icon with the blue E on it is not the one you sent me because you did not send me those yet :) Slo

LOL, the link didn't disapear Slo, I merged it with the Downloads section, (Look at your post http://www.yserbius.org/forum/showthread.php?p=9776#post9776) I did mention I changed the link, along with Cawdor. Sorry for not mentioning I did that in an email or post, it was pretty late lastnight for me and I didn't get around to posting the change... There's no comprimise that I'm aware of.

And I didn't email the zip cuz it was on Friday, and I knew only your work email is recieving emails from me, thus I figured you could make the changes over the weekend faster if you could DL it, thus I posted the location.

Yeh, Blizzard's funny like that... Hehehe... Ultima is what? 15+ years old almost, if not... And the MMO is what? 10? I din't think their worried about losing anything...

Ok... Well, I read it and looks pretty tight. Would be cool to use Ys related questions, make it that much more YS customized. I think its a good idea all around... One question/concern though...

The vBulletin.org website... Is it sactified by the actual vBulletin.com people? Or is it a third party hack site? Reason being: A new user of questionable origins first pointed us to this website. Why? He's not been back since... The more, third party Hacks we add, the less integrity the forums have right?

Call me paranoid... ;-)

First, vbulletin.org and the same as vbulletin.com with the following exception

.com handles their business the forum software
.org handles all of the addons, user contributed modes new themes etc etc, it is the only place i go to look for mods,

No with regard to this question script

i agree it needs to be very Yserbius Oriented we can all put our heads together and come up with some strong questions that require specific answers whats the worst case, if they miss them they can always email for a account if they are real yserbians

as for the updates and such, this mod is a mod that you add on and it does not require any changes or updates to any existing files or templates, so anytime in the future when we upgrade the program will be ok.

at anytime a upgrade makes this mod unusable then we just turn it off and go back to our old method of creating account.

Ok i made a change in our system, no biggie i just changed one of the control panel options, cant wait to see the results

Now unregistered members trying to use the contact_us link will be required to do image verification before being able to send a contact us form,, i do beliefe those GD image verification questions are going to stomp out the BOTs entirely from using that feature for a little while.

they will have to have a human spamming us to figure out those images.

if you want to see it,, just log out and then try to send a contact_us message click on the refresh image link a few times to view the different images.

i will also be looking into the question things

I want a 12 question pool to draw from

I need 12 questions related to Shadows of Yserbius.

They must be strong questions with good answers we can expect a former yserbian to know.

if they are multiple answers that are similiar we will have the chance to list them both as correct answers.
