Ok i used these questions but still need more

What does LOG stand for? = Land of Giants
Whats Enny's full name? = En'li'kil
What does DD's stand for? = Death Darts
What does WHoD stand for? = War Hammer of Doom


8 more questions to go and we can rotate the questions out every so often .. thanks for the questions

yes the questions are randomly selected from the pool. thats why i want a good batch of them in the pool so some spammer doesnt try to research out the answers

NightOwl sent me a bunch of stuff to look over, so will spend some time seeing what she sent. I just hope atleast ONE person is interested enough to help us write the articals...

Well, I went back to look at the other icons I edited, and it looks like every other one, has a solid BG instead of invisable..... WTF... Gimme a few hours and I'll correct them....

Ahhhhh... I figured it out... Gimme a few and you can re-Download the zip file....

I already fixed the forum_link logo i will look at the ones you fixed here in a bit thanks for doing those for me ,,,, btw looks like our registration block is working so far

Cool man... Might want to use or compair the forum_links to see which ones ya like best.... The one you did has the white in the center.... Looks, off... Meaning, the one I did shouldn't have any white pixles...

i looked at your forum_link and it has more white in it than mine does, and still does not have a transparent background, at least from the way i read the way you put the folders back together, they are confusing and hard to tell which folders contain your edited versions, but i looked in both folders statusicons2 and see my old icon with the light brown background, then i look in other statusicon2 and see the forumlink has as much center white as mine and in addition has two sides of the background spots still white.

perhaps there is another folder i am not seeing with the edited versions in it,

Uhhhh... Maybe.... I put the icons into a test HTML file with a black BG... I was kinda tired, so maybe I didn't notice it... I'll look again tonight...

I kept the file structure like you asked... I can just send you the updated files if you want.

Yeh, we had a whole bunch of people yesterday, thats why I asked if you were playing with something in the forums that caused all those people to suddenly appear...

BTW, if you just open the Zip file, you should be able to sort by date, and see the updated files... Or just unzip the directorys and upload them all again... I didn't change anything other then like, 5-6 icons...

So our Question Trap works guys, i seen 7 or 8 spam bots try to register yesterday after reactivated registrations. Everytime they failed. Now i am interested in seeing a real yserbian try and register and make it in because they got the question right. then we will know it works well enough to let the good guys in and keep the bad guys out.

These are the icons I updated, and only those that I updated... While I was verifying they work, I noticed one of them had their color changed, I'll fix that when I get home.

I got to clean up the two qoute ones too, will do that tonight as well...

Also, don't forget to fix the Links at the bottom the « Previous Thread | Next Thread »
is the same color as the BG...

Kinda reminds me of PHPNuke/Platinum.... Looks awsome... And I think the Forums are the best thing we've purchased in a LONG time (if ever) for Ys.org... Ok, well, you purchased anyway... I say go for it... Personally I didn't really care for PHPCow, and looked way to complex to be of much use.... I love vBulliten though, and wouldn't want to change that at all...

Same concerns I've had though, goes for any new service/application... Security... ;-)

BTW,

Didn't we have somone pull the graphics and stuff from Yserbius? I swear I remember seeing posts where somone posted just about every sprite from the game... Where are all those sprites? If you can get them to me, I can animate them again and we can use them.

yea Security is priority one,, i just downloaded the front end, and that will be this weekends mission. i will have to go into phpcow and extract all our articles and we are going to create a article archive in the forum that translates to the front end when it goes to working, then i am going to just put the phpcow license away for a future website,

Later when we get this port made, i want to buy the photogallery pro that goes with vbulletin, Have to wait though 130 bucks is my ass getting kicked material at home these days lol

i think this will be a sweet addon and it will let you get back to work, Our Illustrious Survey King Navic will have purpose once more as well.

Speakin of Beer drinking jeep driving dart throwing Ohions Navic must be busy as heck lately heheh
