Just in case you hadn't noticed, along with the acquisition, there have been a few changes to policy for the way the Vanguard community is being run. One of those changes is the opening of the official forums, hosted by SOE.
These forums intend to give a centralized location for players to communicate with each other and discuss the general aspects of the game. However, SOE also plans to work with fansites, leaving the class specific boards, and potentially other forums, in the hands of fansites.
